Описание: Русский народ, умея трудиться, умел и веселиться. "Примечай будни, а праздники сами придут", говорили люди. И праздники приходили. Зимой - одними из наиболее почитаемых были Святки. Они начинаются от Рождества Христова - 7-го января - и продолжаются до Крещения - 19-го января. Эти две недели и устраивались святочные гулянья, праздничные посиделки, катания на лошадях… Для того, чтобы увидеть, как их отмечали на Руси, ведущая Мария Мумичева отправилась в пригород Санкт-Петербурга, в этнографическую деревню Шуваловку - своеобразный музей русской народной культуры.
