Beyond Sol is officially released! To celebrate version 1.0 we’ve added a number of fixes, balance changes and Dreadnoughts – harbingers of doom.
New Features
Dreadnoughts – these ships are incredibly expensive but can devastate entire fleets and cities. Have up to 1 Dreadnought per fleet. Each corporation has a unique Dreadnought with different strengths and weaknesses. Well, actually just strengths.
New level 4 upgrades for each corporation, which is required to unlock Dreadnoughts.
Bug Fixes and Improvements
Small UI improvement to pause menu.
Increased amount of credits and resources stolen by pirate raids.
Increased minimum player population to get a rival from 30 to 50.
Lots of improvements to AI city building behavior to make them prioritize important upgrades like corporations, dreadnoughts, and control centers.
Slowed down fleet simulated battles to better reflect weapon inaccuracy in real battles.
Fixed a bug where upgrading weapons and systems didn’t update the outfit screen icons.
Fixed a small UI layer order issue in the fleet management screen.
Fixed a bug that caused the space fog to disappear sometimes.
Fixed some small texture artifacts on the map screen.
Fixed a bug where the key binding menu scroll bar moved in reverse.
Fixed a bug where AI cities could stack buildings on top of each other.
Fixed a bug where the victory screen was rendered below the city interaction panel.
Fixed a bug where the garrison maintenance cost showed incorrect data when you had no city.

Beyond Sol is a unique blend of action space combat and grand strategy empire building in a procedurally generated open world. Collect resources, build your city, upgrade your ships and weapons, and cultivate relationships or wage wars with rival cities in your quest to dominate the solar system. Play by yourself or invite your friends to your world and play cooperatively or competitively.
