Первые буквы названий полноформатных альбомов группы собираются во фразу «HEIL SOVA», что является отсылкой к фамилии лидера группы, Демоносу Сове.
Стилистически музыке Barathum свойственны среднетемповые композиции, в которых чётко прослеживается влияние классических блэк-метал-групп Venom и Celtic Frost и дум-метала.
